Dear Members,
As we have received your applications, you have received an identification card with your name, date and ID number. For several years these cards have just simply been a piece of paper with no real meaning.
Starting July 2010, all members will be required to show a certifying official their CPCA identification card at/on certification day(s).This is to verify that you are a valid member.
If you can not provided a valid CPCA identification card or another form of proof that you are a current member in good standing, you and your K9 partner will not be allowed to certify at that time.
It will be the responsibility and discretion of the certifying official's to confirm or allow for exceptions.
Some of you maybe asking why this is now the case? This is due to our growing organization. Because our board members and certifying officials do not have immediate access to computers or our software, this is the solution to confirm that everyone is a valid member and in good standing with the organization.
If you should have any questions or concerns please contact a member of the board. If you need another card please contact Kelly.
Thank you
